how to wear: LEOPARD PRINT...shoes part 1

I have several different leopard print shoes.
I will show how to make an outfit with my Converse ones.

When choosing outfits, I look at COLOR and then PRINT
My shoes are yellow, black, white, and orange.
I will look for similar colors or colors which complement the shoes' colors.

I usually dress shirt down.
So first I choose a shirt.
This shirt has yellow, reddish orange, blue, and white. The reddish orange and blue goes nicely with yellow and orange. However this is another statement piece--it's plaid. I try to keep the patterns to a minimum, so this outfit will only have two patterns--plaid and leopard print.

Next I decide on the pants.
Regular pants would suffice--however I really want to highlight the leopard print. So I choose my leopard print jeans.

The jeans are grey, so the color goes with anything and it also keeps the outfit as a whole more toned down than if I went with colored leopard print jeans.

Next are the accessories, if any since I already have statement pieces.

Beanies are really my thing nowadays--can wear it with a cute thick bang--and the beige color goes with the other colors present in the outfit.

Lastly, I need a shirt underneath the button down since I wear the plaid shirts open like a jacket.
The shirt could be a simple solid color cami or any plain tee. I think a neutral color would be best for this look to tone down the outfit, but wearing one of the colors on the shoes is fine, too--yellow or orange. But then that might be too much yellow or orange, so again the best idea in my opinion is to wear a neutral color, preferably white.

And this is how I would style leopard print.
